RiverWare: RPL Debugging and Rule Diagnostics (HTML5 video)

This module teaches you how to use the RPL debugger and rule diagnostics to understand your RPL logic and debug errors. We'll provide an overview of the RPL Debugger and then we’ll demostrate debugging a rule on a timestep. Then we’ll show how to use the debugger to assist when you get an error. We’ll also show when diagnostics are more appropriate and finally, we’ll present miscellaneous advanced debugging topics. The module consists of audio, video demonstrations, interactions, and a fun final quiz.

In addition, there are step-by-step tutorial instructions to follow. This course assumes you have taken the basic simulation and rulebased simulation training courses and have a RiverWare license. RiverWare 8.5 was used when creating the tutorials, but any later version should work as well. Please download the following files:
