SUMMARY OF CHANGES IN RIVERWARE PATCH RELEASE 9.6.3
Released April 2, 2026
Bugs

The following RiverWare issues were addressed:
6308: Changing an object name was not reflected in the Time Aggregation Series slot's referenced slot display.
6369: In the Configure Existing Slots utility, absolute convergence was showing an incorrect unit label.
7190: Using the Quick Start window, loading a ruleset saved with a more recent version failed silently.
7201: In the Model Comparison Tool, accounting methods' "Execution Time" was not compared.
7204: In the Slot Viewer, Text Series slot column widths did not grow to fit the text.
7247: When the RPL Palette was shown in a Multi-Window, selecting a button shifted the scroll position.
7266: Editing an expression with a RPL breakpoint left the debugger in an odd state.
7268: In the RPL Search and Replace utility, opening a search result's RPL window did not always scroll to the selected expression.
7278: In the Diagnostics, some messages did not wrap when filtering was applied.
7280: Selecting a column in the Slot Viewer sometimes only selected the first cell.
7284: In the Web Map View, the operation to Export Workspace Image of the Full Model was not working correctly. Export is now limited to exporting the visible workspace.
7288: Optimization tooltips on variables were not shown for violated constraints.
7290: The Quick Start window sometimes listed a window layout twice.
7291: When exporting Database DMIs, selecting referenced datasets also selected all control file-executable and trace directory DMIs.
7293: Output canvas text was reset when a model was reopened.

Rule and Goal Set Saving Behavior

Previously, if a ruleset or optimization goal set was saved in the model file, only an export operation was allowed. This limited certain use cases in which it was desirable to also save the set as a separate file. Now, when these sets are saved in the model file, the following behavior is available:

  1. The set allows you to also save to an external file using a new "Save set to File" menu option.
  2. A set that has also been saved to a separate file now has Save and Save As operations available in the File menu, as in previous versions, including standard keyboard accelerators.
  3. The Save Location at the top of the set editor window now lists the path to the file, along with Model File, if the set has also been saved to a separate file.

No changes were made to RPL Sets when configured to be saved only to an external file. You are still responsible for saving the file as needed.
