Naming Snapshots
By default, a new snapshot will be given the name “Snapshot.” Before creating a snapshot, you can specify a custom name by entering the name in the Base Name field.
If an object with that name already exists, an integer will be appended to give the new snapshot a unique name.
There is also an option to Append Timestamp, which will append a timestamp to the Base Name with the time of the snapshot creation, with the format YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.
After a snapshot has been created, it can be renamed in one of two ways:
• In the Snapshots list in the Snapshot Manager, right-click on the snapshot, and then select Rename Snapshot from the shortcut menu.
• Open the snapshot object on the workspace by double-clicking on the object icon. Then rename the snapshot as you would any other object, by entering a new name in the Object name field at the top of the object window.
